Hi! I’m Raeann, CO owner at Bark Lodge.

I’ve been a dog owner for over 18 years and a volunteer with CAARE Rescue Winnipeg for 4 years, fostering hundreds of dogs and cats.

My pack includes my two dogs, Bruno & Annabelle.

When I am not taking care of your dogs I am spending time with my daughter, Stevie. I am also an avid traveller, gardener, and enjoy searching flea markets for treasures in my spare time.

Amanda and I met through our many hours volunteering together with CAARE, coordinating foster homes, vet appointments and rescue missions. We developed an instant friendship and knew we could run a business together. Our common love for dogs and entrepreneurship minds is what got us here!

Hi! I’m Amanda, one of the owners of Bark Lodge. My passion for animals started at a very young age and has followed me through to adulthood. Outside of Bark Lodge I am a mother to 4 human boys and a wife. We live in the country on 70 acres. We have 2 dogs; Mounty and Bjorn, both Great Pyrenees. I also have 4 cats, 10 guinea fowl, 4 ducks, and 2 kune kune pigs! I was the volunteer provincial coordinator for CAARE rescue Winnipeg for several years and have rescued + fostered many dogs, puppies and kittens over the years.

Hey! It’s Hayley, A full-time professional pet groomer with 10+ years of experience. Member of the Professional Pet Groomers Association of Manitoba and CPPS level one certified. I believe in continuing to always educate myself and keep up with the latest grooming trends, techniques, equipment and products that help make your fur family looking and feeling great!

I have always loved working and being around animals. Before becoming a groomer I have worked for Winnipeg Animal Services, a veterinary clinic and a local pet store.

Fur mama to Mowgli (AKA MOMO) a miniature Australian Shepherd. Horseback rider, tortoise lover and small business owner.

Hey, I'm Trevor. I'm extremely passionate about dogs and love getting to meet so many every day. I've spent over 6 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as an armoured soldier and instructor. I'm now pursuing my love for dogs with Bark Lodge and apprenticing as a trainer. Outside of work, I enjoy activities in nature, powerlifting, adrenaline, music and more. It's such a joy to care for and build bonds with all the furry friends that come into daycare!

Hey!! I’m Alyssa, I’m sure most of you have seen me bring in and out your cute doggos ! I’ve been with bark lodge for almost a year now, and I enjoy every moment of it! When I’m not working, I’m a full time student at the UofW. Sometimes juggling both work and school can be tough but getting too see all my furry friends makes it better !! I look forward to another year of snuggles, fun and laughter with bark lodge and all my four legged friends!

Hey there ! I’m Melissa , I’ve been working at Bark lodge for just over half a year now and I love it ! I have always had a huge love for dogs ! I’ve had a dog pretty much my whole life. My best doggo friend Molly of 13 years passed away a few years ago. It’s been amazing working at Bark lodge and getting my fill of doggo love! I really enjoy making a bunch of new furry friends everyday ! See you around!

Maureen is a retired nurse and always had dogs. Now that she is retired, she lives in Belize in the winter which means owning a dog is not possible, so she and her husband babysit dogs in the spring, summer and fall here in Winnipeg. They also work with the Humane Society in Belize walking dogs everyday. She felt like she won the lottery when she got the opportunity to volunteer in the puppy room at Bark Lodge!

Hello, I’m Rachel and my whole life has been involved in some way with people and animals. I have been a doggy foster parent for CAARE in the past and am currently the proud mom of a handsome cat named boots and god mom to the cutest pug terrier named Gus. You can find me bunking overnight with your dogs and the occasional daycare shift! I am so looking forward to meeting all the amazing dogs that call bark lodge their home away from home!
